Shining World Compassion Award Recipient: Jeremy Hess (vegan) – Nurturing Kindness to Animals in the Community

Shining World Compassion Award recipient Jeremy Hess is a dear friend of nonhuman animals and a bright, intelligent animal rights communicator. He founded the illuminating website Vegan Interactions to support and mentor new and existing vegans, as well as to address human issues from the perspective of the animals.

A highlight of Jeremy’s work is his volunteer video streaming at FRIEND Farm Animal Sanctuary, a forever vegan home for farm animals as well as an education center for sustainability in the United Kingdom. These videos showcase how farm animals are valuable individuals, how cows hug, pigs say thank you, and turkeys that affectionately hang out with people.
