The Chief of Ceremonial gracefully received us in his office in Palácio do Planalto, where we presented the plaque and talked about Supreme Master Ching Hai and Her International Association. The Ambassador Paulo César de Oliveira Campos thanked us. We could feel that he was moved with the thoughtful and gentle attitude of the Supreme Master Ching Hai and he said he would give the plaque and convey all the words to the President of the Republic. We also left a DVD introducing the Supreme Master Television with him.
We were very happy that our President was awarded by Master. Thank You, Master, for giving more blessing to this country and also for creating such an artistic and noble symbol as the "Shining World Leadership Award" to encourage compassionate and enlightening leadership around the world and to highlight shining examples for everyone to follow. We also appreciate very much our President's endeavors to take care of the neediest in Brazil, which in turn contribute to end world hunger as we are all connected to each other.
