Humane Society International Receives Shining World Award

Founded in 1991, HSI is known for its paramount actions to stop the inhumane practices occurring in farms, zoos, aquariums, pet stores and laboratories, as well as wild animal abuse happening on land and at sea. We encourage people to eat more plant-based diets at a global level and really take ownership of this issue. The heart of what we do, our mission, is to stop the cruelty of animals, and celebrate them too-- celebrating the spirit and the bond that we have with these animals. Supreme Master Ching Hai recently honored this noble organization with the Shining World Award.
